Jazz Ensemble selected to perform at Rochester International Jazz Festival Monday, June 15, at 5:15 pm on Gibbs St.

The Hilton High School Jazz Ensemble was selected again this year to perform at the Rochester International Jazz Festival on Monday, June 15, at 5:15 pm on Gibbs St. according to Jazz Ensemble Director and instrumental music teacher at Hilton HS, Jared Streiff.    INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL PHOTOS

In addition the professional band that Mr. Streiff put together for this year's Hilton Evening of Jazz to support Al Chez will be performing at the Syracuse Jazz Festival on Saturday, June 27, 2009 from 5 pm to 6 pm on the main stage. The "official" title of the group now is "Al Chez and the Brothers of Funk Big Band!" Members of this group include local area Music Educators, performers and some Hilton Alumni, Nick Finzer, Phil Lake and Shawn Williams. Other acts that will also be performing there include names such as Randy Brecker, Spyro Gyra and more!
