Former Hilton CSD Superintendent dies in
California
Clifford L. Foelsch, former
superintendent of schools in the Hilton School
District from 1972-1986 died March 3, 2008 in his
home in Temecula, California. He was 79.
Originally from Long Island, Mr. Foelsch was a US
Army Veteran having served in the Korean War. He
was a member of the Hilton Rotary Club. He was
involved in real estate in California and was known
as an avid golfer and sailor. His memorial service
was held in Riverside, California. Donations in his
memory may be sent to the American Heart
Association, P.O. Box 1707, Colton, CA 92324. He is
survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan; his sons
Douglas of Hamlin, Keith of California, daughter
Karen Wilder of Hamlin; five grandchildren; brothers
Gerald and John and sister Doris Wilson.
