Northwood remembers' Len O'Lare with 11th annual "Books for Len" Oct. 17-18 

Hilton's Northwood Elementary School will always remember their former teacher Len O'Lare's love of books with a special event at the Long Pond McDonald's Family restaurant.  Teachers and administrators actually work in the kitchen to help prepare and serve.  A portion of the evening's proceeds are donated to the school.  At right is Hilton teacher Krisann Craney in the kitchen.

Annually since his sudden, unexpected death more than 10 years ago, Northwood remembers its beloved teacher with "Books for Len."  Mr. O'Lare died unexpectedly in 2000.

As in years past, a  percent of proceeds from 5 pm-8 pm of food served to Northwood students and families returns to the school.  For further information: 585-392-1000 ext. 4404.
