Four Hilton CSD Art students' work on
display at Rochester's ArtisanWorks' Elizabeth Regional
Gallery
Four Hilton Central Schools
elementary students' art work has been selected for
the NYSATA Student Exhibit, March 6 - April 10, the
New York State Art Teachers Association/Region 2,
during Youth Art Month in March. The exhibit
of 40 pieces of student artwork from
24 area school districts will be on display at
ARTISANworks
in Rochester, NY.
Village Elementary students of teacher
Ariana D'Angelo, Sophie Haynes, grade two,
and Lauren Paige, grade five, will have
their paintings and digital art respectively in the show.
Northwood Elementary school students of teacher Laurie
Steele-Sperber, Taylor Alloco, grade six,
and Angelica Saluzzo, grade six, will have
their paintings on display.
The Elizabeth Regional Gallery is
sponsored by Rochester Community Bank. The exhibit
will run from Sunday, March
6, 2011, through Sunday, April
10, 2011. A reception to recognize the students will be held
on Sunday, March 20, 2011, from 1 pm-4 pm and is open to the
public. Each participating student will receive a
special certificate of recognition and passes to visit ARTISANworks with their families.

The New York State Art Teachers
Association (NYSATA) is a professional organization of art
educators from all levels, pre-school to college, and
administration. Promotion of excellence in art
education in New York State is its primary purpose. NYSATA
Region 2 represents those members who live in the Finger
Lakes Region. Youth Art Month is an annual observance each
March to emphasize the value of art education for all
children and to encourage support for quality school art
programs. It is a national program observed across the
United States.
